Services

Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is offered to adolescents and adults. Individual counseling may address problems such as anxiety or depression, substance abuse or other addictions, relationship difficulty, sexual development and identity, or major life transitions. Additionally, a range of mental health diagnoses can be addressed through individual treatment.

Couples & Family Counseling

Often it is not the individual, but the system that requires therapeutic intervention. Treatment may include members within a romantic partnership or marriage, or more than one member of a family system. Contact our office to discuss availability and treatment options for you and your loved ones.

Psychological Testing

Southwest Psychology offers psychological testing to gain diagnostic information related to mental health diagnoses, or in cases of referral from another professional. Assessment clients are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Contact our office to discuss your goals and testing needs.

Interdisciplinary Care

Your treatment may be approached from an interdisciplinary standpoint. This may include consultation with medical providers, or school staff for adolescent clients. The goal of interdisciplinary care is to utilize a holistic method of resolving primary issues, through incorporating professionals in different roles, who together work to improve your wellbeing.

Therapy Rates

The rate for a 60-minute session is $120. Typically, clients prefer to schedule a 60-minute session, while a 45-minute session is also available at a rate of $100.

Southwest Psychology LLC accepts Blue Cross Blue Shield and Aetna of Arizona, as well as Cigna or Evernorth of Colorado. Additionally, an invoice with diagnostic information can be generated to pursue insurance reimbursement for self-pay clients.

Please feel free to contact our office with any questions regarding insurance or fees. We are happy to work with clients to promote access to mental health treatment.
